Join our Board of Directors

Are you passionate about skating and looking for a way to make a lasting impact? Consider joining the West Hillhurst Skating Club’s Board of Directors. Serving on the Board is a rewarding way to help shape the future of the club and support the development of our skaters and programs.

West Hillhurst Skating Club Roles and Responsibilities

The Board is made up of nine dedicated volunteers:

Executive Positions (5): President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Registrar

Directors at Large (4): General board members who assist with a variety of important initiatives and projects

Board positions are elected for a two-year term, with elections held each May at the Annual General Meeting. Whether you have experience leading organizations or simply a desire to get involved and learn, we welcome individuals with all backgrounds and skillsets. Board members play an important role in planning, decision-making, and supporting the operations of the club — but most of all, they help keep the WHSC community strong and thriving.

If you’re ready to be part of a dynamic team and make a real difference, we encourage you to consider running for a Board position.
